we make ginger beer in amsterdam-noord. we've been doing this for 6 years now and so far haven't made a single euro. we're proud to say we are independent and we're here for the people who love ginger. rooted in the creative industry, we believe in community, collaboration, and keeping things offbeat.
we believe what you drink should matter just as much as what you eat, who you hang out with, listen to, or hang on your wall. that's why we invite artists to work with us on shaping our bottle each batch and everyone who drinks it, to be thoughtful about what they consume, and curate each experience.
our ginger beer is produced locally with love, using only natural and predominantly organic ingredients. it's bold, spicy, refreshing, and honestly, we think it's the best ginger beer in the world.
everything happens right here in noord – from brewing to bottling to storing – keeping it fresh, local, and close to home.

taste
with self-selected fresh ginger juice from peru and the best dried ginger combination, pit has a unique taste compared to
existing commercial ginger beers.
pit has dried ginger root and caramelized organic cane sugar for a warm character, this provides our drink with the body it needs.
in our opinion it makes for an earthy and nutty foundation. to finish the flavor we've added fresh peruvian ginger juice which
contains beautiful fresh citrus notes. pit is completely natural and contains no extracts or aromas. the real ginger we use provides
the person drinking with a great spicy sensation in the throat, similar to having ginger tea or a ginger shot.
key ingredients
fresh peruvian ginger
peruvian ginger is robust and has an intense flavor. typically grown in the junin region of Peru, the ecological conditions give it a citrusy flavor and a beautiful yellow color.
dried african ginger
african ginger is considered some of the best in the world due to its aroma, pungency and high-oil content. With a slightly darker colour than other gingers, african ginger gives an intense but satisfying kick which is perfectly complemented by the citrusy elements of the peruvian ginger.
